The award-winning Australian Sports Museum is unique amongst sports and stadium museums around the world. It brings together the history of the Melbourne Cricket Club and the MCG itself as well as more than 3500 objects across 95+ sports. And with an interactive sports gallery called Game On for visitors to experience the thrill of participation, there is truly something for everyone.

By Car

  • Guests attending the precinct can access the Eastern Plaza Car Park via Entrance D (Olympic Boulevard).  

    We strongly recommend pre-booking your parking. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event. Drive-up spaces are limited and subject to availability.


By Bike

  • Cyclists can park on-site if they provide their own locks and remain mindful that Melbourne & Olympic Parks is not responsible for any loss or damage to bicycles secured on site. 
    

By Public Transport

  • CENTREPIECE is well connected by train. The following stations are within walking distance: 

    • 7 minutes from Jolimont Station (7-minute walk to the venue) 
    • 10 minutes from Flinders Street Station (10-minute walk to the venue) 
    • 10 minutes from Richmond Station (10-minute walk to the venue) 
  • CENTREPIECE is easily reached by tram. The following routes are within walking distance: 

    • Route 70, stop 7B Rod Laver Arena (2-minute walk to the venue)  
    • Route 75, stop 11 Jolimont Station (7-minute walk to the venue)  
    • Route 48, stop 11 Jolimont Station (7-minute walk to the venue)
